Fauquier Health Foundation Announces More than $350K in Grants

Spring Grant program provides funding for 17 regional organizations

June 8, 2015—The Fauquier Health Foundation announced today that it has selected 17 area organizations to receive funding in the most recent round of grant applications. The Spring Grant Program was created to assist area organizations with general operating and planning support. The program allows organizations to apply for up to $50,000. Grantees have one year to use the funding.

“Many organizations providing grants do not allow funding of operating and planning expenses,” explained Christy Connolly president and CEO of Fauquier Health Foundation. “Yet, there are so many worthwhile entities in our community that need additional help to be successful with operating and planning. This round of grant funding provides that support, which is critical to the vitality and growth of organizations.”
