Holiday Magic for our Area Nonprofits

The PATH Foundation recently wrapped up their Holiday Magic program, a surprise grant cycle designed to give area nonprofits a helping hand with their holiday efforts.  Requests were limited to $2,000, and were established to support the work nonprofits do during the holidays to support the clients they serve.

Christy Connolly, PATH Foundation president and CEO, said, “Our nonprofits work year-round to support our community, and we wanted to find a way to make their holiday plans a little easier.  We are excited about all of the projects that have been funded, and we hope that our small part will make the holidays a little better for those in need.”

In total, $28,155 has been awarded to the following 17 groups for projects slated to occur during the holiday season:

Aging Together – $2,000 to purchase holiday tote bags for seniors.  The bags will be stocked with food, basic necessities and personal health items, and holiday gifts such as blankets and slippers.
